Lisa Truong, Founder & Executive Director: Lisa is a social entrepreneur with over 12 years experience in non profit and technology sectors. As founding executive director, Lisa has been responsible for HAMO’s growth from an idea at the kitchen table to a nationally-recognized organization that has positively impacted the lives of thousands of families. She has deep experience leading diverse teams in non profit services and digital environments, including previous roles at Tides and Organic, Inc. Having grown up in Silicon Valley, she is passionate about social innovation and technology used to change the world. She is a graduate of the University of California, at Berkeley and mom of two children.
Kim Tracy Prince, Southern California Chapter: Kim is a web producer and writer in Los Angeles, and a mother of two young boys. She has been blogging (House of Prince) since 2004, and believes that social media has the power to make a difference in children’s lives. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
Anna Santos, Special Projects: Anna is a Bay Area transplant with a background in non-profits and advocacy. Her previous work includes serving as a children’s Guardian ad Litem, and doing policy and legislation research on animal welfare and the inefficacy of breed-specific bans in cities. She has experience wrangling everything from pit bull dogs to babies, and is excited to use her experience and passion to help families through HAMO. She holds a law degree from the University of Memphis and currently lives in Oakland with her husband and daughter.
