Nicole Magaddino

Nicole Magaddino is a longtime Bay Area community volunteer and nonprofit leader with a passion for supporting children, families and organizations that strengthen their communities.

Nicole recently completed eight years of service on the Board of Trustees of Episcopal Day School of St. Matthew, including four years as Board Chair, helping lead the school through significant transition, leadership searches and the challenges of the pandemic. She previously served as President of the Day School Parents Association. Nicole also serves on the Hillsborough Auxiliary to Peninsula Family Service and is a member of the Young Men’s Service League with her son, reflecting her belief in making service and giving back an active part of family life.

Professionally, Nicole is the Founder and President of Propel Recruitment LLC, a Bay Area-based recruiting firm she founded in 2017. A Certified Public Accountant, she began her career with KPMG in San Francisco and has more than 20 years of experience in recruiting, finance and accounting. She earned her B.A. in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara, where she met her husband, Peter.

Outside of work and community service, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their teenage son. She can most often be found supporting her son from the sidelines of a football or lacrosse field, or occasionally cheering him on from behind the scenes on a Hollywood set. When she finds a little time for herself, she enjoys getting creative with photos, paper and a scrapbook in progress.
