Baby’s First Good Deed.

My sister’s stepson and wife were having a baby. They didn’t want anything and I didn’t want to buy plastic junk just for the sake of buying something. I wanted to do something for people who didn’t need anything.

I wanted it to be local and meaningful…What could I do? So I started Googling “Ways to help babies”.

I came across Help a Mother Out and thought, “Well, that's a fantastic name!”

It was so easy to give a months’ worth of diapers on behalf of Baby Clio. I’ve since started gifting coworkers who are new parents the same thing - a months’ worth of diapers from their newborns to babies from underserved families. I call it: “Baby’s first good deed.”

Supporting Help a Mother Out is my new and favorite go to when someone has a baby. I like to share with new parents how their babies are helping another family who needs it.

I think Help a Mother Out is so important right now. There are babies that need diapers and yet help is being taken away. Diapers are darn expensive. Helping an organization working to take away the fear that there isn’t enough money to pay for diapers from people is huge.

Thank you to Barbara Carberry and the Armanino Foundation administered by her employer, Armanino, for generously giving a $3,000 grant to Help a Mother Out.
